Who doesn’t love a healthy smoothie? What better way to stay healthy and keep your immune system in tact than with a delicious smoothie packed with vitamins?!
In order to throw together a yummy, healthy smoothie in a pinch, I always keep my freezer socked with berries; we love strawberries, bananas spinach and kale in our house! Once they are super ripe, peel them pop them in a freezer bag and store them. If I have extra prep time, I’ll also portion out all the ingredients into their own ziplock baggie for busy mornings! My favorite smoothie is a Strawberry Banana Burst Smoothie! Super refreshing with lots of flavor!
STRAWBERRY BANANA BURST SMOOTHIE
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Ingredients:
1 1/2 cups of frozen strawberries
1 frozen banana
1 tablespoon of quick cook oats
A squeeze of lemon juice
3/4 cup of almond milk
1/2 cup of coconut milk
